This piece is unique and is not a result of cutted pieces of canvas, it’s an iconic piece from Master Shimamoto done with his peculiar technique “bottle crash”, it’s archiviated with Master Shozo Shiamoto signature in his archive, it is in perfect status, it was realized in ’99…and in ‘90ties Master Shimamoto done only 100 pieces scatterd around the most important world collections and museums, it’s a big size work, and on the wood support you can see in the middle there’s a juncture between two canvases that testify that this piece was done freely (not prepared) and spontaneously as told and professed by the Gutai spirit from the ‘50s in which caos and performative act were the rules to follow.
This piece also comes directly from the private collection of the artist. For this kind of pieces the prices are more high.
Also that the harmony and the colors here are beautiful and well balanced.
