My research focuses on the mechanisms of creation and perception of the image. Strongly oriented to the process, my works are always open to a kind of perceptual uncertainty and investigate the relationship between cause and effect, absence and presence.
I often work in series, following precise rules regarding the processing of the work and the color composition of the vanes. I am used to build tools that allow me to get dynamic and minimal oscillations sometimes produced by interference, surfaces are as flat as possible, their rendering is almost digital and it is able to evade my gestures.
For about two years I have channeled my conceptual processes into algorithms, performed by drawing-machines, they generate pictorial surfaces putting further distance between the work and the author in both the execution and the generative phase.
